Samsung has been focusing rigorously on its Galaxy M series smartphones in India. The Galaxy M40 is the latest addition to the new series. The new phone comes with some cool features like a punch-hole design, triple cameras, and a Snapdragon 675 chipset.

Samsung launched the Galaxy M40 in India at a price tag of Rs. 19,990. Ahead of the launch, we manage to spend some time with the handset and here are our first impressions about it.

Galaxy M40 First Impressions Design and Display

The Galaxy M40 may not the best looking Galaxy M series phone, however, it comes with a glossy polycarbonate back panel. And the Midnight Blue color version that we have for the review looks pretty cool.

The back panel houses the triple camera setup that is vertically aligned on the top left corner. There’s an oval-shaped fingerprint sensor above the Samsung branding.

The next thing you will notice in the Galaxy M40 is the absence of 3.5mm headphone jack. However, Samsung has compensated it by bundling a USB Type-C headphone in the box. There is no earpiece as well and the phone uses screen sound tech to use the display as a speaker.
